Safe Driving

A little note to all new expats in Al Ain, please be careful while driving here especially negotiating a round-about. Those cars on the road are 90% bullies. They don't understand road courtesy nor road manners. You might be following your lane but they don't. Watch out for those flickering headlights on fast lane, they are the idiots who just need to be jammed brake for tailgating. I hope I have warned you in advance. Happy driving.

Megamart

Megamart is a popular supermarket in Al Ain apart from Carrefour. Centrally located in Nyiadat district and within the Al Ain Mall building. Getting a parking space at night and especially weekend can be a nightmare. Megamart has another branch located behind Al Falah Plaza in Khalifa Street.

Don't be mistaken to another Mega Mart in Jahili district. That one is run by Choithram.

Hardee's

I believe there are 2 Hardee's outlet here, Al Ain Mall & Khalifa Street. The food is somehow very similar to McDonald's.

Hiltonia

Hiltonia resort and aquatic club is part of the Hilton Hotel's leisure activity space.

Kids' World of Food

The most recognisable fast food outlet in the world. I just find that McDonald's service in Al Ain is just not up to the mark. Simply unprofessional in serving customers.

Shwarma on the go

My favorite shwarma at Al Ain Co-op near main souk.

Cinema @ Rotana

One of few cinemas in Al Ain. This is Grand Cinemas at outdoor basement of Rotana Hotel.

Gold Souk

Gold Souk in Town Centre. Rows of goldsmith shops to choose from.

Al Falah Plaza

Al Falah Plaza is located at Khalifa Street. It houses 3 Floors of supermarket, clothings, furniture and electronics on the basement level. Value for money store.
